080 is the area code for my city, Bari, and the surrounding area. The idea of a fold-up magazine came from fold-up road maps and the way they are used by travellers. One of their most attractive features is that they can be stored or tidied away in small compartments.
080 combines handy pocket design with useful information about the artistic, cultural and musical events in my hometown every week.

This fold-up A3-size poster can be reduced to a minimum by following a unit folds like an accordion or creating new folds, leaving freedom of reading the different articles. The texts are arranged in one or more columns to enable easy referencing, thanks also to the black bars above that show the reader the length of the piece.

These boxes contain icons and useful information about recommended places to visit, cost of tickets, transportation, opening hours, links and famous quotes.
The aim of the project is to create a small guide to events in the city, not only for tourists, but also for those who wish to be kept up to date with the city’s cultural news.
