Client : Istituto OIKOS | Year : 2019
in collaboration with Governo do Distrito do Ibo and Parque Nacional das Quirimbas
funded by European Union, Italian Agency for Development Cooperation, Fondation Ensemble
Creation of the graphic identity of Ibo starting from a participatory process with a group of inhabitants of the island.
Grid and construction elements for the typography.
The letters are composed of geometric shapes corresponding to the data collected during the workshop. Every single letter is built respecting a modular grid on a square base.
Starting from the geometric shapes of the logo, I design a modular pattern. In every single square module all the geometries of the word “ibo” are used.
Selection inspired by the choice of participants and data collected during the workshop.
