Tutor : Marco Zanta, Michele Cera
Year : 2010

This photography project is the result of a workshop with the photographer Marco Zanta and supervised by Michele Cera held at Polytechnic University of Bari in November 2010.
The area in which we worked included the entire campus of my city. It’s a structured and complex place for its varied architecture and for its functions. Places where knowledge is transmitted, functional areas and transition areas where people meet and leave marks.

Each participant drew pictures for a personal visual journey and expressing the relationship with this place. My attention is particularly focused on the concept of threshold and what I consider symbolic objects on campus: telephones, machinery, desks, boards, distributors, baskets, chairs, calendars and radio. These objects so strongly characterize the interior and exterior spaces that become explicative of the work, of the passage of time and the interaction between man and machine.
